In the works of artist Nazik Aslanyan, inner silence, color thinking and emotionality are intertwined in one sensory space. Her colors never make noise, but breathe quietly and slowly open up at a second glance, reminiscent of the rhythm of “Introspective” poetry. Aslanyan’s works are important for their intellectuality, as well as for their intensity that is not noticeable at first glance. She is inspired by nature and works on the border of silence and material, creating planes that operate equally in both the personal and spiritual environment. Her canvases do not define a dominant presence; they become a continuation of the space, bringing balance and contemporary aesthetic clarity. Nazik Aslanyan began exhibiting her works in 1997 and has had more than 20 exhibitions in Armenia and abroad. Her works are part of private collections and galleries, as well as the permanent collection of the Yerevan Modern Art Museum. Nazik's works have been published in international encyclopedias and albums. She has 3 solo catalogs of her published works.
